Data deletion

How to delete the data Turboyap holds about you, disconnect a social account, and remove Turboyap from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Bluesky, Telegram, Discord, YouTube, LinkedIn and X.

What we delete

When you ask us to delete your data, we delete your OAuth tokens, app passwords and webhooks, the ids, handles and names of your connected profiles, the media and captions you uploaded, your posts and schedules, per-post metrics, and the audit log for the accounts or workspace concerned. We keep only records the law requires, such as invoices.

Deleting data in Turboyap does not delete posts that are already live on TikTok, Instagram or any other platform. Delete those on the platform.

Request deletion

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject Data deletion request, from the email address on your Turboyap workspace.
  2. Say what to delete: one connected account (give the platform and the handle, page or channel name) or your whole workspace.
  3. We confirm the request comes from you. If you write from a different address, we will ask you to verify that you control the account.
  4. We delete the data, including from backups, within 30 days and email you when it is done. If we have to keep anything, we tell you what and why.

You can make this request even if you never created a Turboyap workspace yourself, for example if someone connected an account you manage. Tell us the platform and handle and we will find it.

Disconnect one account

Disconnecting an account deletes its tokens immediately, so Turboyap can no longer publish to it. Self-serve disconnect is coming to the Turboyap dashboard. Until then, email [email protected] with the platform and handle, or remove Turboyap from the platform using the steps below. Your post history stays in your workspace until you ask us to delete it.

Remove Turboyap from a platform

Revoking access on the platform stops Turboyap from using your account right away. To also delete the data we already stored, send a deletion request. Platforms rename their menus from time to time; if a step doesn't match what you see, search the platform's settings for "apps" or "permissions".

  1. Open Instagram and go to your profile.
  2. Tap the menu, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites.
